Alassin & The Magic Perfum Bottle
A new, exciting laugh a minute pantomime from local group The Wednesday Players is a very modern interpretation of a traditional story. With “girl power” in mind, the tale of Aladdin is given a twist for the 21st century audience, with a female lead, Alassin - a feisty schoolgirl with huge aspirations. In this highly entertaining production, the streets of a run-down English town replace the market places of the Orient and the mysterious cave of treasures is switched for an old, forgotten PE cupboard. Familiar characters are given a facelift in this imaginative take on a well-loved story.
